At our nursing home dogs provide amazing companionship for people with dementia.
The residents ‘light up’ the minute the dogs enter the room. They provide a ‘talking point’ and are the subject of many wonderful discussions.

Hmmmm, I dont think I’ve seen dementia dogs..I’m also worried about the dogs safety. What if the owner becomes violent and attacks the dog. The poor dog will be injured. ( Then the dog will have no option but to defend itself and might bite the owner )
